I’m Daniel Oliveira, a PhD student and researcher with a passion for natural language processing and computer vision, and I’m committed to advancing the state of the art in these areas.
Since 2017, I’ve also been an active investor, with a particular focus on deep value and turnaround stocks. My investment strategy is heavily influenced by the value investing philosophies of Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett, and Peter Lynch. I concentrate on small caps and micro caps, on the lookout for multibaggers.
In addition to my research, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a teaching assistant at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, where I earned my BSc and MSc degrees and where I’m currently finishing my PhD.
